Domaine Montrose Chardonnay 2013 is made with Chardonnay grown in a number of vineyard parcels. After a night-time harvest the grapes from each parcel are fermented separately following a brief period of skin contact. Temperature during fermentation is ,aintained at around 16oC to maximise fruit aroams in the finished wine. The wines are then blended and aged in stainless steel vats prior to bottling about 6 months after harvest. The finished wine is yellow and has aromas of peach and lemon on the nose. Quite round on the palate but fresh.
