Domaine Montrose Cabernet Syrah 2012 is made froma blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Merlot (60/30/10) grown in a variety of vineyard parcels. Following harvest and a three week skin contact period the must is fermented before being blended and aged for a year in stainless stell vats prior to bottling. The finished wine is dark ruby red with aromas of black fruits, berries and currants, on the nose. On the palate it has fine tannic structure and flavours of red fruit and spice.
