Chateau Grand Pey Lescours 1999 is now fully mature and drinking well. On the nose the wine is clean with primary fruit character still evident althought there is also lots of savoury notes, herbs, spice and vanilla. On the palate the tannins have softened and the medium-bodied wine is rather savoury with some spiciness and a good length of flavour.
