De Loach Russian River Valley Chardonnay 2012 uses fruit from 3 plots in the valley. After harvest and crushing the must was fermented in a mixture of stainless steel tanks and french oak barrels (50/50) after which the bareel fermented wine underwent malolactic transformation and saw 7 months maturation in oak. The wine has pear and melon fruit together with some pastry notes on the nose. On the palate it is nicely balance, round with nutmeg and vanilla complementing the fruit flavours. Good balancing acidity.6 BOTTLES OF THE 2010 REMAIN IN STOCK. PLEASE NOTE ANY VINTAGE PREFERENCE DURING CHECKOUT
