Bogle Chardonnay 2013 is made with fruit from the estate vineyards which were first planted in 1965 in the cooler areas of the Clarksburg region near Sacramento. Still a family business, the wine is produced by 2 generations of the Bogle family. The wine has lots of green apples and pears as well as some pineapple. Creamy on the palate and with some attractive spicey notes, some caramel and vanilla, all balanced by a fine acidity.
