Martin Meinert Merlot 2010 is made with a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon (85/15) and sees little intervention from winemaker Martin Meinert. The juice is spontaneously fermented and then aged for 18 months in second and third fill French oak barrels. A rich red wine with red fruits, spice and mint on the nose. Soft and smooth on the palate but maintains a nice mineral crispness.
