Iona Sauvignon Blanc 2010 is made with cool-fermented, free-run juice. Racked immediately after fermentation and then only wine from the best parcels are used in the final blend. The wine has a lovely nose dominated by gooseberry, herbs and a steely character. On the palate the wine is nicely mineral, with classic herbaceous and goosebery Sauvignon Blanc character. Balanced and with a long persistence of flavour.
