Ca dei Frati Pratto 2011 is made by Igino Dal Cero using a blend of Turbiana, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc (50/25/25) grown on the family's estate on the shores of Lake Garda. By limiting yield and fermenting the juice at low temperature in stainless steel the aromaticity of the Sauvignon Blanc is retained, as well as the texture of the Chardonnay and the liveliness of the Turbiana. A mineral wine with a lovely aromatic nose and an elegance on the palate complemented by a certain buttery Chardonnay influence.
