Falernia Carmenere 2013 is produced with manually harvested fruit. After desteming and crushing the juice is fermented in stainless steel using a selected yeast strain. A portion of the wine is aged in new French and American barrels prior to gentle filtration and bottling. A deep red wine with a nose of very ripe red fruits. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, with the ripe red fruit character of the nose and some sooth tannins.
