Ixsir Grande Reserve Red 2011 is made using a blend of Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon (61/39)with the help of Chateau Angelus consultant winemaker Hubert de Bouard using fruit from the estate's prime vineyards sites in the Bekaa Valley, some 1000m above sea level. The wine has plenty of ripe fruits and spices on the nose. On the palate it is concentrated with ripe tannins and black fruit falvours. Good length.
