Heinrich Zweigelt 2014 is made with fruit grown in the hot, dry, red grape favouring Wagram region. Grapes are hand-picked before temperature-controlled fermentati.on, in stainless steel vates, with 2-3 week skin contact times. The wine is then aged in a mix of large oak vats and used French oak barrels. The finished wine has a nose of plum and some notes of spice, citrus zest and herbs. A ruby coloured, juicy wine, the palate has nice acidity to balance the red berry fruit character. Good length of flavour and easy to drink.2 BOTTLES OF 2009 REMAIN IN STOCK. PLEASE NOTE ANY VINTAGE PREFERENCE DURING CHECKOUT.
