Famille Perrin Ventoux Rouge 2013 is made with a classic southern Rhone blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre supplemented by small quantities of Carignan and Cinsault. Each variety is vinified separately. The grapes are generally lightly crushed and then fermented slowly in oak vats. Following fermentation the wine is aged in oak vats and large barrels for about 10 months. It is a fresh and fruity wine, simple and unpretentious it delivers genuine regional character and flavour at a great price.
