Heinrich St Laurent 2013 uses carefully sorted, hand-harvested fruit from the winery's vineyards on the Pannonian plain not too far from Lake Neusiedl. St Laurent is a relative of Pinot Noir but has thicker skins so making it simpler to grow and meaning the resultant wines are deeper coloured and more structured. Fermented in stainless steel and aged for 15 months in second fill oak before bottling. A dark ruby wine with a nose of dark berries and some spice. The palate has a minerality, good acidity, smooth tannins and lots of forest fruit flavours, well-balanced.6 BOTTLES OF THE 2010 REMAIN IN STOCK. PLEASE NOTE ANY VINTAGE PREFERENCE DURING CHECKOUT
