Ascheri Barolo Pisapola 2012 is, after fermentation, aged in stainless steel and then 18 months in Slavonian oak before a further 10 months in bottle before release. It is a brilliant garnet wine with all the classic Barolo characteristics. The nose is intense, violets and ripe fruit and the palate is full-bodied, firm and persistent but with tannins soft and velvety.
