Bodega Renacer Enamore 2013 is made with hand-harvested fruit from vineyards with average vine ages of over 50 years situated at some 600 - 900 metres above sea level. After harvest the grapes are placed on racks outside the vineyard where the natural windy conditions dry the grapes, causing them to lose around 30% of their weight, concentrating flavour and sugar. After crushing fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats using native yeasts with a 2-week skin contact period after which time malolactic transformation and 12 month ageing takes place in french oak barrels. An deeply coloured wine with good tannic structure and a smooth, round mouthfeel. It has lots of ripe fruit and spice on the nose and a long complex finish.
