Contero Moscato d`Asti di Strevi 2013 is made using the ripest Moscato grapes grown in the perfect amphitheatre that is Contero's vineyard in the Strevi region of the Piedmont. After manual harvesting and a gentle pressing the must is fermented at low temperature to maximise the fruitiness of the wine before being bottled when the alcohol level reached 5.5%. A lightly sparkling wine with a heady nose of freshly crushed grapes and sherbet. Nicely balanced on the palate with plenty of sweet fruit, fine bubbles and crisp acidity.
