Dreissigacker Riesling Bechtheimer 2013 is made using fruit from Jochen's 21ha organic and biodynamic estate in Germany's Rheinessen wine-growing area. Following his non interventionist philosophy in the cellar as well as in the vineyard means the wine is fermented spontaneously and saw no chaptalisation to boost alcohol levels. The result is this refreshing pale yellow wine that has a nose of peaches and pears and a hint of something spicey. The palate is steely and mineral with an intense quality and flavours of stone fruits and a long finish.
