Cherubino Porongurup Riesling 2011 is made by renowned Australian wine critic James Halliday's 2011 winery of the year, Larry Cherubino Wines. Grapes are picked in the cool of the night and then gently de-stemmed before around 80% of the must was fermented and aged for 3 months in new French oak casks. The remainder was fermented in stainless steel vats using a mixture of wild and cultured yeasts. The wine has an attractive, clean nose of lime zest and pear. Very mineral on the palate with flavours of lime and lemon. Well balanced, refreshing acidity and with along finish.Delivery on this product COULD be up to 10 days.
