Cherubino Chardonnay 2011/12 is made by renowned Australian wine critic James Halliday's 2011 Winery of the Year, Larry Cherubino Wines in the Margaret River in western Australia. The fruit is harvested by hand before being pressed directly into new French oak barrels where it was allowed to ferment spontaneously. The finished wine has citrus flowers and lemon zest on the nose together with notes of nuts, nougat and flint. Full on the palate but with good acidity balancing the ripe fruit flavours and oak derived spiciness. Long finish.Delivery on this product COULD be up to 10 days.
