Finca Los Prados Cabernet Malbec 2015 is made by winemaker Facundo Pereira using a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec (80/20) from vineyards on the DoNa Elsa Estate, some 750 metres above sea level in Ram Caida and growers with whom the Bianch family have worked for many years. After being harvested by hand the fruit is crushed and the must fermented with about a two week skin contact period. Following fermentation the wine was matured in stainless steel vats. The bottled wine is deep ruby in colour and has lots of berry fruits on the nose. The palate is smooth and has fine tannic structure to complement the many fruit flavours.
