Amalaya Malbec Red 2014 is fermented slowly, at low temperature, with skin contact for almost 3 weeks and then the wine undergoes malolactic transformation, 25 % in French oak barrels. Made using a blend of biodynamically grown Malbec, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon (75/15/10), the resulting wine is deep ruby in colour and has raspberries and plums together with some spice and chocolate on the nose. The palate is fresh and fruity with good supporting tannins. Smooth and long.
