Firesteed Oregon Pinot Noir 2012 is made by Bryan Croft using fruit sourced from a number of vineyard sites throughout the Willamette, Umpqua, Rogue and Walla Walla Valleys. It is fermented it stainless steel vats using yeasts cultured from cellars in France's Burgundy region before ageing in a mixture of stainless steel and oak barrels. The finished wine is garnet in colour and has classic red fruit on the nose complemented by some spice, leather and mint. On the palate the wine has soft tannic structure, lots of berry fruit flavours and enough acidity to balance.
