Cape Chamonix Troika 2010 is a delicious red wine by Gottfried Mocke at Cape Chamonix. Made using a Bordeaux Blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. It has a deep ruby colour when young and a nose of ripe dark cherries, blackberries, vanilla, cinnamon and other spices. It is full-bodied with a structured palate and ripe tannins. Rich and fruity while never losing balance. This wine is impressive young but will evolve in the bottle for a decade or so.
