Peter Lehmann's Stonewell Shiraz 2010 is highly rated for it's richness and depth of flavour. Produced using fruit from the extremely low yielding mature vineyards of the Barossa Valley, in particular from the Kabiningie, Dorrien, Freeling and Greenock regions. The wine is partially fermented in barrel then aged in oak barrels for around one and a half years. The resulting wine is dark red in colour with hints of plum and mocca on the nose. On the palate the wine is rich and powerful with the same dark fruit and chocolate character, fine, ripe tannins and a long persistence.
