Firesteed Oregon Pinot Gris 2013 is made by winemaker Bryan Croft using grapes from cooler vineyards in the Willamette Valley and some of the warmer sites in the Rogue Valley. Following harvest and crushing the juice is fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature using yeasts originally cultured in Burgundy. After fermentation the wine was blended then matured in stainless steel tank prior to bottling. A lovely aromatic wine with floral, tropical and citrus notes. Fresh on the palate with nice texture and good long finish.
