Fancy learning a little bit about food and wine matching ? 

EclecticTastes is really pleased to annouce that we have teamed up with Sarah Mellersh at Abernethy-based cookery school Let's Cook Scotland to run a fun Food and Wine matching session. This first session will take place at the cook school on Saturday 8th June starting at 4pm. EclecticTastes will be bringing along 6 really special wines to pair up with some tricky to match dishes prepared by fab cook Sarah. The emphasis on these events will be fun but hopefully you'll learn a bit too. Roger will tell you a bit about each wine and Sarah may even demonstrate a couple of the dishes while you get to taste some fab wines, some fab food and pick up some tips to put into practise at home. if you're interested let me know or here book on the Lets Cook website.

New for Christmas Our Range of Custom Cases

EclecticTastes is really pleased to introduce its range of Custom Cases. Priced between £100 and £200 these cases offer the customer the chance to customize the contents of a mixed case, down to the number of bottles purchased, all chosen to match your own tastes. Unlike the vast majority of mixed cases where the choice has been made for you and perhaps some of the wines don’t hit the mark with you we want to offer you a truly personal mixed case, all the way down to the number of bottles. Simply decide on a budget, let Eclectictastes know what you like, what proportion of white and red, any specific desires, such as a bottle of bubbly, and let us do the searching for you. We will match your likes with our wines and select you something you’re sure to enjoy.
