Domaine Henri Boillot Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Clos de la Mouchere 2011 is made 65 year old vines from a rare Monopole, a vineyard owned by a single producer. Ripe bunches are hand selected and transported in small crates to Volnay for light pressing. Juice is fermented in barrel and aged on oak barrels, a portion of which are first fill. It has a pleasing nose with pear and melon complemented by pleasant oak character. Full on the palate with pineapple, orange and some oak derived spiciness. Pleasing crisp, dry finish. Excellent Quality.
